I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
